Making Elmer

Elmer (Mighty Hunter) Fudd was made of the usual combination of craft foam, hot glue and fleece for his head. A plastic trash can made for passable armor, and the helmet was tag-board that Jon shaped and glued layer by layer. The horns are made from sheets of thin craft foam glued into shape. Jamie sewed up the pants. In order for Elmer to seem shorter than Bugs, his head was dropped down so it covered Jon's chest, and he saw out through the gap between the bottom of the helmet and top of the head. Everything was lightweight and warm. Jon was surprisingly comfortable throughout the night.
Our dog was also very comfortable seeping on the mess of leftover fleece that could be found strewn bout hour home.
